T he trouble with humans is that we take everything for granted.

H ow would it feel to lose normality, lose what you hold so dear?

A nd after that, how would it feel to know only a select few might be able to restore order in your body or that of a loved one?

N ot to be taken lightly either, the loss of function, loss of personal power that you cannot stop alone.

K nowledge that you really, really need each other and you did not realise it before, should land deep.

Y et on we go, blithely ignoring the warnings, the requests to stay apart, keep from infecting one another.

O nly time will tell if this is enough, certainly for the ‘healthy’ ones it probably wouldn’t be an issue.

U nknown to you, however, is whether you truly are one of the healthy ones or whether you too might dip into oblivion begging for those brave, knowledgable individuals to pull you out of the mire, give you care that only they are willing to give.

N ot only do they risk their health, but also their sanity, plunging themselves into an unknown fate.

H ow long will they have to wage this lonely war?

S afe to say, humanity is being tested and surely those wonderful, generous souls that give their very hearts to save us will be well rewarded in time.
